Well folks. You may have noticed that another crazy year has come on and gone. Again.
2007. Wow. It was a weird one. We certainly hope everyone had a pretty good holiday season and happy new year, and all with which that entails.

So anyways, we the guys haven't exactly compared notes and diary entries or anything, but it is probably fairly accurate and safe to letcha know that the band will for the most part be keeping a pretty low profile as we move on into 2008. For all intents and purposes, some of us are gonna take care of some personal obligations and career training opportunities, some of us are gonna work on completing or working on other musical projects, some of us are gonna maybe travel and do stuff, some of us are gonna work just like everybody else to pay the bills and live, and some of us might even find time to maybe finish a song or two or ten for a new Flickerstick record.

We are having a bit of a tour withdrawal..., you know we miss all you awesome folks around the country who come to Flickerstick shows. Well hopefully we will see you sooner than later. It is 2008 and time really friggin flies by, ya know? So we will be back before ya know it.

Until then, you all be good, take care of yourself, don't forget about us, check back occasionally,

and keep rockin.

The show in Pittsburgh turned out really great! Thanks again to all of you sweet clean Flickerstick fans who drove or flew across state lines or across the entire state or from wherever... you know who you are, as do we.
Thanks for coming to the show and making it that much better for us. A couple thousand folks is cool, but not as cool as having a large group our fans in front of them rockin' out and singin' along. We owe a big thanks as well to the boys in Kill the Drama, who were cool with letting us borrow most of, if not all, their equipment for the show. They rocked. Shout-outs to Tom, Jill, and everyone else who took care of us and helped us with the show and other stuff.

If we could just fly-in to do big free shows every other weekend in our favorite cities... that would be pretty cool.
We got our guy workin' on it.

In the meantime, we're working on new music as you read this. Release date - ASAFP.

Hey there. Well last weekend, we just had a freakin' awesome show at the new House of Blues in Dallas.
Wow. That place is awesome. It was even awesomer with the hundreds and hundreds of sweet Flickerstick fans there!
We cannot thank you guys enough for making it out to the show. It was an incredible show for us, and we hope all who were there felt as good about the show as we did.

It's a new year, man.
Hope you all had a good holiday season and whatnot.

Ours was kinda quiet this year. A bit of a nice change, honestly.
But then, let's not make it a habit.

Back from tour. Thawing out.
Had a great time even though it felt like Alaska. Nothing better than loading out of a club in a light mist and 14 degrees. Maybe that sheet of ice in KSC...
Regardless, we had a great time, and we thank all the kickass Flickerstick fans who came out and made it great.

In the meantime, we'll continue work on the yet another batch of new songs we have cooking, and we will enjoy the holidays and a little vacation time. The next step is to get the new studio record underway. Studio time is being scheduled, and then it's go time. The Live CD is pretty much in the can and is getting closer to being officially set for release at the beginning of April 2007. We'll be touring everywhere too, so... yeh.

Just wait til next year.

Wow - we can't say enough how great last weekend was for us in Atlanta!
Not only for the most gracious, supportive, and pretty much awesome and crazy fans we are fortunate enough to have, but also for all the really cool and fine folks at Tree Sound, who basically kick ass in every way. Paul, Nina, Shawn, and everyone else - we loved the studio, the experience, the vibe, Wyatt's The Sword tshirt, the party favors, the great sounds... you name it. We look forward to getting back there as soon as possible. Thanks so much.

While the recordings get mixed and all that studio mumbo-jumbo, we turn back to working on more new stuff, preparing for more recording, playing a few regional shows including a hometown show in Dallas, as well as another little tour taking us into the great northern midwest and ohio valley areas... not to mention the great city of Chicago, IL.

Finally!! It is September, and we can now get started on a bunch of band stuff...

This weekend, for example, we are in Ft. Worth,TX at the Aardvark for two nights in a row. Bunch o' cool bands sharing the stage with us. Different ones each night. Be there to check them out, you should. We have a bunch of new songs nobody has heard. We think they are good. We are gonna play most or all of them. For more info, there is a little thing called "Shows" near the top of the page you can click with your mouse.com thing, and it will take you there.

If this weekend in Ft. Worth is not possible, well then maybe you can get your sweet self down to Florida for our tour that starts next week. Orlando, anyone? Find us to check it out, you should. Oh and then we stop in Atlanta for a wee little show, actually two, wherein we will be recording a whole mess of some old and new stuff for a new cd! And it will be live! We just announced a 2-show crazy Ft. Worth weekend - a friday and saturday nite at the boys' hometown dive, The Aardvark.
Both nights will have some sweet bands on the bill too. Should be awesome.

This will happen right before we head out for a quick tour through the south (that means YOU, Florida) to play some killer shows before stopping in Atlanta for another set of special shows.
